Earn to Die 2, a 2D racing game, is a sequel to well know game where you need to drive through massive zombie horde to save yourself. You have to drive through a post-apocalyptic wasteland plagued by by obstacles and zombies where gasoline and humanity are scarce. Wade through overrun areas and knock down as many mutants on your way as you can.New to the game is the addition of checkpoints in the desert. These checkpoints divide the game into different levels that you have to travel through and beat. This makes for a much longer game than the first Earn to Die, which essentially had only one level.
As always, you'll have 3 vehicles to choose from to use to mow down the hordes of zombies. These are the muscle car, the armored humvee, and the school bus. Fans of the zombie-genre will immediately notice recognize these vehicles and the inspiration from them.
The way you play Earn to Die 2 is similar to the way you play many games in this genre, controls for all cars are the same throughout the game regardless of what car you're using. Up key moves the car forward. Down key moves it back. Left key tilts it up and right key tilts it down. X key gives it a boost of speed but only when you get the speed boost upgrade (which you definitely should).
One of the main problems you'll find right when you start playing is that you can't get very far due to the shortage of gasoline. Because of this, you'll have to constantly improve your vehicle (in the gas station). Luckily, in Earn to Die 2, you earn a lot of money in each race, which allows you to improve your car practically every time you race.
